"It’s hard to go through a day without hearing something amazing about biotechnology"

It’s hard to go through a day without hearing

something amazing about biotechnology.
Researchers are rapidly developing new drugs to fight cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, heart disease, and other life-threatening conditions. Through biotechnology, we can improve a crop’s resistance to natural enemies or engineer organisms to clean up the environment. At RIT, you’ll also learn to respect nature and seek to understand the long-term implications of your work and its effects on society.

The nation’s first biotech program
If you’re fascinated by genetics and genetic engineering and interested in research, then you’ll want to take a close look at our biotechnology program. Created in 1983, it was the first undergraduate program in the country and today continues to be one of the largest and most advanced programs of its kind. In addition to “core” biology, chemistry, math, and liberal arts courses, the curriculum focuses on the exciting and rapidly expanding field of genetic engineering and the almost unlimited potential that controlled genetic experiments have for improving the quality of life. Specialized areas of emphasis include recombinant DNA, mammalian and plant tissue culture, monoclonal antibody production and purification, large-scale fermentation techniques, and methods for characterization and separation of proteins and nucleic acids. A bioinformatics option may be pursued through the completion of specific electives.

Paid, professional experience
Co-op placements for RIT biotechnology students are an optional part of the program and tend to be in national corporations on the cutting edge of the field. Your studies take on new meaning when you are isolating, identifying, and sequencing human genes for an established biotech company or analyzing data on a cancer research team at a pharmaceutical company.

Leading edge facilities
Acquiring a solid foundation in basic biology and biochemistry will help you build a knowledge base in genetics. But performing experiments using modern equipment that is equal to that found in industry will help set you apart. You will gain an array of professional laboratory skills and build experience through lab work using state-of-the-art equipment used in the nation’s leading labs and companies.

Build a career in biotechnology
Genetics plays a role in virtually every aspect of life. As a result, careers in biotechnology are growing rapidly. With a degree from RIT, you will be prepared to play a central role in this innovative, emerging field. Our graduates are successfully working in many areas of biology and biotechnology, including pharmaceuticals, environmental science, forensic science, genomics, health care, and biomedical research.

Accelerated BS/MBA program
By carefully planning your undergraduate course work, you can complete the RIT MBA program in as little as one extra year after completion of your bachelor’s degree in biotechnology. This combination prepares you to enter top-level management positions in a wide range of scientific and medical organizations.

just 2 share a little things....

it was nothing 2 says..
but i want 2 write the post rite now..
haha..
but i want to share with u something..

in life
honesty is the best policy in many thing that we do...
lately i had experienced a story about this thing..
the implication if we do not follow this is very bad..
not only for u....but the others....family members and friends..
and also the people who are no connection to u....
we must accept our fate in the way we r..
set a goal is not wrong....but the goal does not allow any wrongdoing

"matlamat tidak menghalalkan cara"

so whatever we do....be honest
and insyaALLAH the goal will be achieve....
it will not last long if we achieve something in wrong way...]
just follow the flow and you'll be fine...haha....

*this post is not to offense someone or other purpose....it is just for the reminder for u n me.....
