Satu penipuan jika kukatakan,

Ditambah pahit di terasnya. 

Pahitnya sehingga terduduk!

Tetapi Allah sudah tuliskan, 

Hanya Dia yg berpengetahuan, 

Kenapa aku diberi kemanisan, 

Dan pahit di pengakhiran. 

Cemburu daku kepada si teman, 

Azalinya terpelihara tiada celaan, 

Kelihatan lengkap dari luaran, 

Jauh jahiliyyah sebagai cabaran. 

Aku sedar akan sesuatu, 

Dalaman mereka siapa yang tahu, 

Cabarannya yang tidak menentu,

Mungkin lebih hebat dariku.

Liku pada jalan itu menjadi saksi di hari pengakhiran! 

Perjalanan kita mungkin berbeza, 

Dek perbezaan daya upaya, 

Namun tujuannya tetap sama, 

Pengembalian pada Yang Saksama. 

Selepas refleksi kejadian ini, 

Aku yakinkan akan diri, 

Terdapat hikmah yang tersembunyi, 

Disebalik segala aturan Illahi.

Jahiliyyah memberi daku kanta, 

Disaat mataku rabun membuta, 

Untuk mengenal serpihan kaca, 

Ataupon kilauan butiran permata

Taktala teman sudah berkanta,

Aku masih meraba-raba, 

Namun aku harus redha, 

Sesungguhnya inilah takdirNya!

Kanta itu sungguh berjasa,

Mengajar aku pengajaran berguna,

Bahawa hidup sekali sahaja,   

Oleh itu jangan disia. 

Ukhuwah Fillah!

Tidak juga aku lupa, 

Allah memberiku rakan sahaya, 

Yang datang membawa cahaya,

Summer Updates!

1. Finally the ACL had been fixed after 9 month. What's left is another 9 month recovery for soccer again.

2. Oh wait, ski? Maybe on March or April, or no at all. We'll see.

3. Now the intensive physiotherapy seems to progress well. I can walk again within a week. Maybe faster than everyone else in that physio gym.

4. The physio is not a simple thing though. Its better not to do the operation if you are lazy for that physio session. It's time consuming and boring, unless you get a good and "happy go lucky" groups like mine!

5. The Medterm progress was so slow. I'm glad I drop Online writing seminar. Can hospitalization be the reason?

6. I might not do the practical with that UIA lecturer though. It will be difficult if I went to physio thrice a week, and 2 days for practical?

7. Oh wait, the thumb seems unfixable. Another deform eh. hurmmm...

8. Need to start losing weight real soon. Or I might stuck at this heavyweight without having chance to lose it anymore.

9. The niat is there, but the motivation is gone! Or maybe I should create one. O Allah, ease me to continue my niat.

10. Finally, Kuantan after 2 weeks! It's been a long week though.

11. Need to get some serious thing to do, or I'll be distracted with lagho thing for the whole holiday. I need something serious and legit.

12. It's been a while since the last Usrah.. I started to miss them.

13. I always do something halfway! I'm not forgetting it, just delay it for later and never do it. That's me. Oh I dont like it at all though,.

14. This rambling was written on the last night on the hospital bed and it's 2 am already! Good nite!

It's been awhile

It's been a while since the last post.  I think it been 2 month already. Many things had happened but I'm just to lazy to write about it. Lets see what I remembered..

Genetic Engineering
This was the best class ever. Awesome lecturer, materials, classmates and last but not least lab partner! Haha. The lab was overrated by seniors before as it does not as intense as described. Anyway, I admit it require more works than any other class. But its fun! or wait, maybe the fun blew the burden away and makes it looks easy! idk..

MySA
We had our Malaysian Night as usual and it might be the last ever Malaysian Night at RIT. This year was the least fun one, but we managed to pull out quite a good show. I said it was the least fun as the Malaysian Night failed to build unity among the members, different from the past 2 years. Maybe there are holes and edges that need to be fix. Anyway the people who came did enjoy the night! At least one objective was achieved. Good job everyone..

MSA
I would say I had so much fun being part of MSA. Working in groups of people with very different background and work ethics was a nice experience. It was unique. I left the eboard with a heavy heart. Everybody is leaving as well for another greater commitment. 2 of us becomes president of others clubs, 2 become part of GU and one become Senator for SG. We had the sentimental moment in the last meeting, and it was sad. We did argue and fight before, but at the end we wished nobody will ever leave. All the best for the new eboard! I'll help when needed.

Congratulations to the seniors and some from my own batch for your graduations. Hope you guy enjoy the grad night! Haha. Anyway, good luck in the future and keep in touch.

Presidency!
Oh yes, Malaysian Night means the end for the MySA eboard. I run again for presidency and I won! Its not something to brag about but it is a challenge. I just want to develop skills while I got the chance. Its not sacrificing fun of final year doing MySA stuff as some people might says. I'm still new and lot more to come!

Somebody asked me today,

"Why you looked so happy all the time. No problem at all, or new girlfriend or what?"

First, yes I smile all the time because thats what my name means, Farhan = Happiness. How I can't be happy if everybody is calling me that? It is a dua right?

Ust Salahuddin called me Farhain during the spring break. Double the happiness, double the smille! :)

Secondly, no girlfriend. I tell you, it is not worth it. It is a total waste of youth life, at least for me. Depends on the 'intention' at the first place though.Well it worth to think about marriage. That's permanent. Haha. Well only time can tell.

Third, Problems? I got a lot. Anyway, a lot is subjective. Well, how to deal with the problems matters. I even can't walk properly, but I know there is somethings lies beyond that disabilities.

Fourth, life is too short for trivial stuff. Without we realize, the closest things that will happened to us is death.  A scheduled journey without itinerary. I don't easily takes thing personally just because it just a waste of the emotion.

Fifth, the surrounding is just awesome! Awesome families, friends and community as a whole. I just love it. This niche is the best that I can dream for!

Anyway, it is important just to reflect on what are the things that is happening in our daily life. The difficulties is a test, but the ease is a greater test for us. Don't be arrogant on what we have, and don't be downgraded on what we don't have. Yeah, it is easy to said than done. But this are the key thing to be remembered. InsyaAllah happiness will follows if we really do this kind of things.

Happiness do not defined by money, it does not define by wealth, it is also not define by how many friends do you have. Happiness is inside feelings that you feeling satisfied with life.

Last week halaqah, we talked about how we should find a 'hikmah' for everythings that happened. It does not suppose to be bad things, it also can be a good things.

Without the hikmah, we tend to easily give up on Allah. We also tend to forget Him when we are at ease. Allah says in Surah Al-Fajr 

This things just come across my mind several times, to reflect what happened in life recently. Within 3 months, things change dramatically I guess. Anyway, lets not turn backward but shoot forward towards Mardhatillah. 

All in all, we just need to remember everything was set the way it is because that is the best plan from Allah. If one of us had difficulties, and others earns a fortune, it just because that is the best plan.

This is the best booster ever. Given by my dad, on the most depressing time, last year.

February Updates!

1. The winter quarter is reaching it's end. 3 weeks more and I'm done! It the most busiest and challenging quarter so far.

2. Study, clubs, events, and works keep me busy for the past couple of weeks. I almost forgot that I just got back from West Coast a month ago.

3. In a serius need of vacation. Or at least a weekend getaway.

4. It's snowing outside! At last snow shows up after a while.

5. Ski seasons this year is not as good as last year. Not much snow plus injuries, I don't enjoyed it to the fullest. Anyway, InsyaAllah I will have another chance to ski next seasons if everything goes well.

6. Oh I just realized Province handled 2 'makan-makan' for the past 2 weeks. Well, luxury house is it? Haha

7. Homework are getting to pile up. Without a weekend this gonna be a disaster.

8. Announcement: I'm going back in June! Well, I'll definitely not happy with the facts that there is no more summer for me. Well, who knows what will happen in the future, is it?

9. I've been working on a new project for the blog. Lets take it to the next level. But I don't know when it gonna be done. Lets have the teaser first then!
