Ramadhan Updates

1. Sorry for abandon this blog for quite a while.I was quite busy working and enjoying the summer! I'll complete the travelog for Kelana Convoy later.

2. Ramadhan just came. This year, I'll complete my Ramadhan in Malaysia, InsyaAllah. Let's makes this Ramadhan one of the best Ramadhan we ever encounter.

3. We talked about Kurma (dates) yesterday. It brings back the memory where Adlil and I count the dates that we have during the first year so that it can last until the end of Ramadhan. It teach me that I have to appreciate things that I take for granted before.

4. De' Mall will close for 3 days. Do come to break fast at 4th Ramadhan, okay?

5. Last week I went to Malaysia vs Singapore game in Bukit Jalil. Sang National anthem with other 90, 000 Malaysian people was awesome! It makes me love Malaysia more! Haha...

6. But still, Malaysian people, do change your attitude. Boo-ing during Singapore anthem and throwing bottles to the field was not nice, okay?

7. Lose weight during Ramadhan? Errrr...., yeah will do!!

8. Note to self, do upgrade your Ibadah and Istiqamah in doing it. InsyaAllah.

Jobless..!!

I do enjoy the first 2 days of class. Maybe because of the back-to-school spirits. But one of the lecturer talks so slow, I wish I can survive two hours in his class.

What's missing??

My management accounting class is super awesome. The lecturer used to apply the same class format as the last quarter class, and guess what, I did get the take-home exams and effort-based homework. The homework did count 45% of the course percentage and just submit all of it is enough. No need to be right for the answer. The exams, we get 2, yes TWO full weeks to do it. Nice one prof.

Now I'm jobless. I tried to contact my former supervisor for about two weeks but still no answer. It is pathetic to say this, but I officially self-declared myself to be jobless now. I tried to get another job soon. I already applied for tutor position and still waiting.

Who doesn't? Did we have duty free books?

The books are too expensive. One subject is about 200 USD and use it for 3 month minus the exam weeks and other, it just about 7 weeks. 30 dol per weeks or 15 dolar per class. That's expensive for us. But we came out with some economical solution. Either rent the books or buy the ebook and share it among 5 people. Excellent!!

Tonight will be the last night of Ramadhan. The last terawih for this year. I really hope to meet another Ramadhan next year.

Happy Eidfitri everyone. This year, I will celebrate it in Orgo and cell bio class.  Nevermind, that's a pricless experience is it? (I tried to think as positive as I can). Or maybe this will be some sort of practice so that I will not be so sad when have to celebrate eid in my wife's kampung later... Haha...

Singgah Sahur...

5 days of Ramadan, I'm enjoying every second of it. I think this year I feel easy to go for terawih. In the past, 8 rakaat of terawih is hard sometimes to complete. Thank you ALLAH.

15 days more in Malaysia. I really did not want to go back there. I feel like nowadays life is great enough. However, without even a degree or a permanent job, I'll not survive. Don't worry, I'll be back to the States and complete the degree no matter what.

I have an idea about a big vacation next year. A really big and gargantuan one. When I said it big, I mean the-one-and-only-in-a-lifetime vacation. I hope I could save enough money to make it work which I still doubt whether I can or not. We'll see it soon.

I will. Hehe.

I hope for a Tutor position next Fall. But I will work as custodian too. I really hope to get both. I been in the US for study by the way. I remember that.

WORK hard and STUDY smart. I won't left my study behind. Yeah, I would sacrifices things that disturb my study. But working is not one of it yet.  :P

If you read carefully, note what I did during Eidul Fitri day. 

One interesting yet not-so-important-but-did-I-care fact is, I never been in KL for 2 month for my own agenda. I been there twice but both with family. I feel like I travel much enough though. And I think I won't be there this summer except when I want to go back to the States.

I already self-declared retired from the restaurant job. Ok I lied. My father will preferably hope I'll be at the restaurant whenever I free. I will, dad. Well, when I think it back again, it's for my own good too. So, it never be a burden, forever. I learned a lot there, and more to come.

A very big clap to all A-level students that pass their exams with flying colours. At least 2 of them are my friends. To Asyikin Ishak and Mohd Hafiz, another congratulations to both of you. Good luck in UK guys.

I have a friend. Her name is Asnida. She will be flying to the State in 4 days. I used to tease her by texting a countdown message to her to remind when she will be flying off. But today I decide to put it here. Haha.

Anyway, Good Luck to all ACTP student that will be flying off to United States tomorrow and any other time. May you all success in your field. To people who did not get their visa yet, pray and tawakal, may Allah grant your wishes and will flying soon. Allah knows the best for us.
